3/2/2010 1:02:04 PM | With some groups I'd be psyched to find that in a level 5 adventure. Easy xp and loot for a top-tier level 3 party, although it would be rather scary for a smaller or wounded group.
Its unusual, having a 21xp encounter in an Alvl=5, but probably not as rare as you might think. The average XP per encounter at that level is 5.33. Probably somewhere around 1 in 100 encounters will hit 4x average. When you consider that the number of encounters averages a bit over the Alvl, you're probably looking at seeing an encounter that tough once per 16-20 adventures. |
