Below is an excerpt...
"The Federation of Gnomish Unity and the Bandit Kings for the Advancement of Bandit Kings wishes to request that DarkCloud and several other active clans cease and desist the constant hairyassment of our citenzenry. Our Iron stores are depleted and our crude club makers unions are getting ready to strike. There is an overabundance of female gnomes and bandits as nearly all of our able men and gnomen have fallen to the assault that has begun of late. Please relent blah blah blah *whine* *whine*...." |

Sadly DarkCloud scholars and scribs were unable to properly translate the missive as the members of the diplomatic core that were dispatched to learn the language were all eaten, or came back as Zombies themselves. Leaving them fluent in the Zombie Stomp and several other dialects, but unable to speak Common and generally worthless as anything other than targets for the latest in air driven pigment throwers... |
