4/27/2010 8:51:56 PM | I'm glad to see that you are developing this game even further. As the title says im very excited to see that new changes are coming! A map based system will be awesome I am sure. Is it possible that in the future you will be adding more options to owning land? Like taxes or something along those lines. Anyways I think this is an awesome game you have here, and I'll remain active as long as you are still updating.

4/28/2010 6:56:38 PM | Hi, thanks for the support. The map changes are progressing well, I don't really have an ETA but I've been working on it almost every day. I'll probably explain the changes in the forums here once I switch everyone over to the new system since quite a few things are going to be different.
I very much intend for the land aspect of the game to become as important as any other part of MW. Taxes will definately be one of the first meaningful land updates, although I'm not sure when I'll be working on that. I've been really hesitant to jump in with new stuff there until I have a bit more of an idea of what final result I'm aiming at -- but somehow it needs to be at the core of the MW experience as well as a focus for multiplayer stuff like wars, alliances, and trade. I hate to say it, but land updates may be a long time in coming while I focus more on the existing gameplay and adding content. |
