9/2/2010 8:22:26 AM | is really worth it :) I have mostly not allotted anything to recruiting, but when i have bit the bullet and spent on it i have had good results :)
I now have a lvl 0/1 group that is an exceptional cleric and 3 Ninja's!
I would recommend that whenever you get the chance to save money for recruiting to do it! it is still chancy- i have spent and got a turd of a person that i just dismissed right off- but the good does outweight the bad by far imho

9/2/2010 10:55:30 AM | I second that! I've been using mainly the 4 gp level and most of my recruits have all double-digit stats and totals over 80 if you add all 6 attributes together. Sure, some expensive duds, but I don't mind considering all the studs. Too bad the paladin I hired had 5 hp and died right away. But no complaints, these are the best recruits I've ever had by far. Check out this 8 gp cleric: 15 18 15 17 15 15. Wow!!! |
