Game questions I don't know the answer to. If the answers to these questions are posted somewhere plz let me know. 1) what determines how many monsters get hit by area affect spells? 2) Does charisma stat still impact yeomen repairs? 3) what does the level number mean in an adventure? 4) are adventures at the same level of difficulty easier for lower level characters?

(11) melee 1 [53% d10 : small club] clubs a bandit's foot for 6 damage. a bandit has been killed. Turn 31 (4) melee 1 [50% d5 : small club] misses a bandit's waist. (3) a bandit [2% d5 : bronze spear] misses melee 1's torso. Turn 30 (3) melee 1 [48% d5 : small club] misses a bandit's torso. I didnt know weapons could change the amount of damage it does from one round to another. The club went from 5 point max to 10 max in one strike, and I dont remember it being a special strike.

When the damage turns yellow in the description, does that mean its a special hit? Seen a few in that adventure.

1. not sure i know the answer to all your questions, but i believe for the smallest d5 area spells (fire burst, etc.) they have a 50% chance of hitting each target (including friendlies, as you know) in the single square targeted for d5. for the next size up (fireball, etc., d10) i think they have a 100% chance of hitting each target in the single target square, and a 50% chance of hitting targets in adjacent squares with LOS to the target square.

2. not that I know of...

3. the level number is the true, objective measure of the difficulty of the adventure. to the best of my knowledge, a Dangerous 17 will have the same content as an Introductory 17. very weak characters selecting Dangerous difficulty might generate a lvl 17 adventure, while very strong characters selecting an Introductory adventure might generate a lvl 17 adventure.

4. see 3 above. an Easy adventure generated by 4 lvl 1 characters might generate an Easy lvl 3 adventure. an Easy adventure generated by 16 lvl 6 characters might generate an Easy lvl 21 adventure. the numerical measure gives the adventure's true, objective difficulty level. the selection you make "Easy/Hard/Dangerous" chooses how hard the adventure will be relative to the strength of the party.

hope some of that makes sense, not even sure i answered the questions you were asking...
