12/23/2012 7:34:20 AM | Just a note that is you have a character that was casting spells then you change their technique it WILL NOT stop chatacter from casting spells. Need to hit attach button.
Legion may want to consider removing attack button and have technique setting take over that function to stop inadvertant spell casting. |

12/24/2012 7:33:51 AM | Good point. I should consider a cleaner way of doing this. It is important to allow people to pick different techniques while casting. For example, I will often switch a character to "defensive" when casting, since the extra defense is useful and the attack/speed penalties don't matter much when casting. Or even switch to "desperate" on a caster if it is important that he cast the spell early in the turn. So, I don't want setting a technique to change the action back to "attack" automatically. I will figure out a way to make it more clear what action you have set. |
